Must watch at theater... "2012"

This movie is a must watch at theater... The movie is about 2hr 40mins... But after watching it, you feel like watching once again... Even though its a too long movies, you doesn`t feel the go... Its really nice... The one who likes "Independence Day" and "Day After Tomorrow", they really get crazy after watching this... The graphics and all rocks... Its a good one to watch at-least once in your lifetime especially in theater... If it would be an IMAX version, then it would be dam good to see, but this movie doesn`t have it...

I would rate the best movie of the year 2009 till date, even you too... Rush to the theater and watch... Don`t watch it on your PC or wait to watch it on TV... Experience it in theater and please stop piracy...

802.11n WiFi standard approved by IEEE

Finalization of the new wireless networking standard--which is capable of delivering throughput speeds up to 300 megabits per second (and even higher)--took exactly seven years from the day it was conceived, or six years from the first draft version. The standard has been through a dozen or so draft versions.

It's likely, however, that final approval of the standard will be publicly announced by September 15, the date when Meru Networks puts on a public Webcast to provide answers about the ratification.

According to the Wi-Fi Alliance, the group that tests and certifies wireless products to ensure their interoperability, all existing Wi-Fi Certified Draft N wireless products will still work with the final standard.

802.11n offers much higher speeds than the previous, already-ratified 802.11g, which caps at only 54Mbps. Due to the compelling higher speed, most wireless vendors haven been offering 802.11n-based (also known as Wireless-N) products during the past six years and calling them Draft N products. Now the Draft is no more.

According to the Wi-Fi Alliance, most, if not all, of the existing equipment can be upgraded to the final specification via a firmware update. Finally, all future wireless networking products will be compatible with today's products that have been Wi-Fi-certified.

Videos on Newspapers & Magazines Soon...

The moving-picture newspapers out of the Harry Potter movies are being conjured up for real in the US. Thousands of readers in New York and Los Angeles are to be able to see a video ad in mid-September when they leaf through the magazine Entertainment Weekly.

The US television network CBS Corp is paying to insert wafer-thin videoscreens into the entertainment publication to promote its new season of TV series launching in the autumn, its marketing chief George Schweitzer announced Wednesday, media reports said.

The 2.7 millimetre thick screens have a diagonal width of 5 centimetres and mini-speakers and were developed by Los-Angeles-based Americhip Inc. They play when their page in the magazine is turned, much like greeting cards that play music when someone opens them.

They are to play clips of new and returning TV series and an advertisement for PepsiCo Inc, which is helping fund the promotion. CBS refused to say how much the campaign would cost, but a magazine industry executive familiar with the devices gave an estimate to the Financial Times that would indicate a cost of several dollars per videoscreen, which must be manually inserted into the magazine.

CBS has yet to decide how many videoscreens would go out as part of the promotion, saying only "thousands".
